Integration of SC.Net and Social Capital Institute

SC.Net, established in November 2008, was a multi-functional knowledge base and development platform. By engaging a group of enthusiastic persons to be SC.Net members, the SC.Net consolidated local practical experience on social capital for its better development. SC.Net members come from different backgrounds, including former CIIF Members, project coordinators, collaborators, academics, district stakeholders, and etc. With the mission of promoting social capital, the SC. Net members further extended the impact of social capital by leveraging on their respective expertise, experience and networks, and bring social capital into fuller play in various sectors and their respective sectors. As a result, the public better knew and recognised the concepts of social capital and then actively took part in building up social capital and promoting social development.

The SC.Net was integrated with the Social Capital Institute (SCI) for creating greater impact of social capital with effect from 1 February 2024. The CIIF would like to express its gratitude to all SC.Net members for their unfailing support all along; and look forward to working hand in hand with different stakeholders for the development of social capital in the SCI.
