Briefing on CIIF’s 24th Batch Approved Projects

The CIIF Secretariat organised a briefing for the 13 teams of the 24th batch approved projects on 8 December 2015 at Lecture Theatre, Hong Kong Central Library, introducing the preparatory work on administrative, financial, promotional and outcome evaluation arrangements for launching the projects.


Ms Carmen NG, Secretary General of the CIIF Secretariat gave project teams a warm welcome.


Training Workshop on “Programme Planning with a Social Capital Perspective”

After the briefing, it came to a training workshop on “Programme Planning with a Social Capital Perspective” which attracted an attendance of more than 110 participants.


In charge of three CIIF-funded projects over the years, Mr SIN Leung-kai, Service Supervisor, New Territories West Integrated Service, shared his experience in concrete and effective programme planning with a social capital perspective.

Ms CHAN Wai-tak, Moon, Centre In-charge, Jockey Club Tai Wo Centre, Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centre, shared her experience in implementing the “Make a Difference: Building a Sustainable Cross-sectoral Carers’ Support Network (Phase 2) project. Riding on the valuable social capital outcome developed in the first phase, the project continues to promote and expand neighbourhood support network for carers. Ms CHAN shared the key success factors of implementing social capital activities.
