The Caring School Life Photo Competition Successfully Concluded
The Caring School Life Photo Competition organised by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) was successfully concluded in November 2013 with about 140 entries received. Supported by the Hong Kong Disneyland, HKedCity and Hong Kong Joint School Photographic Society, the competition encouraged people to capture touching moments among teachers and students, promoting a caring campus.
Winning entries featured mutual trust, support and encouragement among individuals and showed caring moments all around, whether it was recess, sports day or leisure time after school.
The grand prize winner received one-day tickets of the Hong Kong Disneyland and a three-hour Grizzly Gulch Runaway Adventure board game gathering with friends in the park’s hotel while 10 merit award winners were presented a set of Mystic Illusions Game Cards by Mystic Point.
Pak Kau College and Chiu Yang Por Yen Primary School, winners of The Most Supportive School Award, were given one-day tickets of the Hong Kong Disneyland with a three-hour guided tour. At the end of each week during the competition period, one photo was selected as the “Best of the Week” and winners were given a fancy USB drive.
Hearty thanks go to three members of the judging panel, who had made great efforts in selecting winning entries. They are Dr. Kevin Lau, Chairman of the Promotion and Development Sub-Committee of CIIF; Dr. Lee Ka-yan; and Mr. Andrew Kam, Managing Director of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
Congratulations to all winners! Grateful for your support to the event! Let’s join hands to extend our care and support from campus to the wider community and make Hong Kong a more caring society!
