Project Objectives : Integrate conceptual "Caring" and "Playing " to mobilise and train up women, elders and youths to be "Joy Makers" so as to support the families within the community, and facilitate cross-generational community integration.


Critical Success Factor

The project that makes use of "Play" to develop the strengths of Wong Tai Sin residents has successfully mobilised and trained more than 600 women, elders and youngsters as "Joy Makers" to organise "Play Events" regularly in the community. Besides, the key collaborator, Sony (Hong Kong), has provided photography training to "Joy Makers" to enhance their playful skills. The project has also developed a "Play Kit" to promote social capital through different card games and facilitate the communication between parents and children as well.
