Project Objectives	:	With the strengths generated from the cross-sectoral collaboration model and the garment factory as a platform, the project enhances the interaction within the community, passes down garment manufacturing skills and enables local designers to promote the Hong Kong Brand.

Critical Success Factor

"Splendid Fashion" has used its own clothing factory as a collaboration platform to bring different strengths into play. Under the mentorship scheme, it can help the experienced and middle-aged cloth making women to pass on their skills, wisdom and experience to the young fashion designers, while the creative ideas of the latter will widen the former’s horizons. This platform brings forth reciprocity, collaboration and mutual trust across generations. The project is able to capitalise on the unique strengths of all parties and continue reinforcing the co-operation among academics, labour unions, business, professionals and community stakeholders. The clothing factory even sustains on a self-financed basis after the funding period.
