Dr Ricky SZETO Wing-fu
Vice-chairman, CIIF Promotion and Development Sub-committee;
General Manager and Executive Director, Hung Fook Tong Group Holdings Limited

Dr SZETO has been the Executive Director of Hung Fook Tong Group Holdings Limited since 1999. In this role, he seeks to reform the traditional herbal tea industry through modern management and a social enterprise philosophy. Throughout the years, Dr Szeto is committed to integrating theory and practice in university education and business operation. He also actively promotes faith at work to create a full and spiritual life in the workplace.

He has published numerous research articles in reputable international journals as well as several management and inspirational books, during his teaching career at Hong Kong Shue Yan University as an Associate Professor.

Dr TING Wai-fong
CIIF Committee Member; Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Applied Social Sciences, Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Dr TING Wai-fong joined the Department of Applied Social Sciences, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 1988 and has been engaged in social work education and research in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Macau for nearly three decades. She participated in the first and second evaluation studies commissioned by CIIF in 2004 and 2010 respectively.

As she steps down from full time university teaching, Dr TING steps up her social capital development practice with young children and families. She is now the School Supervisor of Sun Island Kindergartens (9 branches).

Professor Andrew CHAN Chi-fai, SBS, JP
Director, EMBA Programme, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Professor Andrew CHAN Chi-fai is the Director of EMBA Programme in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). On 1 July 2010, Professor CHAN took up the headship of Shaw College, CUHK.

Professor CHAN excels in teaching and was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Exemplary Teaching Award in 2001 and 2009.

Professor CHAN has been active in participating in public service. From 1999 to 2005, he was Chairman of the Hong Kong Consumer Council while from 2004 to 2010, he was Chairman of the Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board; and from 2005 to 2012 he was a Member of the Electoral Affairs Commission. Currently, he is Chairman of Chinese Medicine Council and Process Review Committee of Hong Kong Monetary Authority. In addition, he is Director of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited (ASTRI). He is also Committee Member of Clearing and Settlement Systems Appeals Tribunal of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Member of Chinese Medicine Development Committee, and Social Enterprise Advisory Committee. Besides, he is the Adviser of the Quality Tourism Services Association (QTSA). In recognition of his distinguished public and community service, he was appointed as a Justice of the Peace in 2005 by the Hong Kong SAR Government and was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star in 2007.

Ms May CHAN Suk-mei, BBS, JP
Director, News and Public Affairs, Hong Kong Commercial Broadcasting Company Limited

Ms May CHAN Suk-mei is the Director of News and Public Affairs of Hong Kong Commercial Broadcasting Co., Ltd. She is also currently the host of Hong Kong Commercial Radio’s two insightful public affairs programmes: Saturday Forum and Beautiful Sunday, interviewing government officials and celebrities on politicial, economic and social issues.

Ms CHAN has been in Journalism field for nearly 40 years and she is the current Chairperson of the Journalism Education Foundation. She has also been Executive Committee Member, Secretary, Vice Chairperson and Chairperson of Hong Kong News’ Executives Association since its establishment.

Mr KWAN Chuk-fai, MH, JP
Assistant Director – Corporate Communications, Hang Lung Properties Limited

Mr KWAN Chuk-fai graduated from The University of Hong Kong with an Honours Degree in Bachelor of Arts. He also obtained an Executive MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario.

Mr KWAN has over twenty five years of experience in management, corporate communication and executive development. He has served in organisations including the Independent Commission Against Corruption, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, New World First Bus Services Limited and NWS Holdings Limited. He is now Assistant Director of Hang Lung Properties.

He is a Member of the Steering Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service, the Convenor of the Sub-Committee on Promotion of Corporate Volunteering under Social Welfare Department and a Court member at The University of Hong Kong.

Dr LAM Ching-choi, BBS, JP
Chairman, CIIF Committee

Dr LAM Ching-choi is a pediatric specialist and is now Chief Executive Officer of Haven of Hope Christian Service. Under his leadership, Haven of Hope Christian Service pioneered Hong Kong’s first “Healthy City” movement in Tseung Kwan O. He also assumes various public offices such as Chairman of Elderly Commission and the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of “The Opportunities for the Elderly Project” of Social Welfare Department. He is a founding member of SC.Net representing the medical sector in the promotion of social capital development.

Professor LUI Tai-lok
Vice President (Research and Development), The Education University of Hong Kong

Professor LUI Tai-lok is the Vice President (Research and Development), Chair Professor of Hong Kong Studies and Director of the Academy of Hong Kong Studies at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK).

Prior to joining EdUHK, he was Professor at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) where he also took up the position of Associate Dean at the Faculty of Social Sciences (2010-2011) and the headship of the Department of Sociology (2011-2014).

His research areas are class analysis, economic sociology, urban sociology, and Hong Kong society. He is also a columnist and actively participates in public and social services.

Mr. WONG Kit-loong
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Hong Kong Housing Society

Mr. WONG Kit-loong is the Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Housing Society. Holding a bachelor degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School, he is a member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Institute of Housing and Hong Kong Institute of Housing, and has extensive experience in property related matters.

Other than his previous many community services, he is currently serving as members of Elderly Commission, Steering Committee on Qualifications Framework Fund, Apprenticeship Training Board of Vocational Training Council, Property Management Industry Training Advisory Committee of Education Bureau, etc.
