CIIF 26th Batch Application Now Opens – Highlights of Briefing Session
Theme: Bringing Generations Together for a Caring Community

People of different ages and sectors possess their own strengths - the older generation has valuable experience while the youth is highly adaptable. If they can know each other and enhance their mutual understanding and respect, reciprocal integration will be achieved. Should people across generations complement each other with their own expertise in difficult times, our community will become much healthier and more caring.

CIIF 26th batch application was launched with the theme "Bringing Generations Together for a Caring Community”. A briefing session was held at Leighton Hill Community Hall on 18 August 2016. Guest speakers were invited to share their experiences on enhancing cross-generational communication and building up social capital through implementing the CIIF projects.

The Briefing attracted nearly 200 participants from different sectors. Ms Carmen Ng, Secretary General of the CIIF Secretariat delivered a welcome address and briefed the audience on CIIF concepts.
