CIIF 27th Batch Application Now Opens – Highlights of Briefing Session
Theme: Team Up . Teens Up

The 27th Batch Application carries the theme “Team Up . Teens Up”. Young people are growing at such a fast pace in their adolescence that their psycho-social development and needs are ever-changing in a rapid manner. By bringing together people from various sectors to form a support system, we can help the youth broaden their social networks and horizons, share love and care with one another through the networks and gain insight about life from other people especially when they face challenges or come across opportunities.

A briefing session was held at Lai Chi Kok Community Hall on 11 April 2017. Guest speakers were invited to share their experiences. They encouraged organisations to promote cross-sectoral collaboration with a view to helping the youth form support networks so as to enhance their healthy development and resilience. The briefing session attracted over 200 participants from various sectors.

Ms Yan Chan, Secretary General of the CIIF Secretariat, elaborated on the social capital concept and encouraged all sectors to participate in social capital building.
