A Caring Hong Kong – Hong Kong Secondary School Creative Micro-Animation Competition

To promote a caring community and encourage creativity among youngsters, the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of the Labour and Welfare Bureau and IBM organise “A Caring Hong Kong - Hong Kong Secondary School Creative Micro-Animation Competition”. The competition is open from now until 18 April 2014.

Target

All local secondary students are welcome to join the competition individually or in a team of no more than three members

Awards

• Champion: HK$5,000 cash coupons for electronic products
• First runner-up: HK$3,000 cash coupons for electronic products
• Second runner-up: HK$1,000 cash coupons for electronic products
• Merits (seven quota): Trophy
• “Most Supportive” award to school: Trophy
• “Most Popular” award to individual team whose animation receives the highest number of votes on CIIF website: $500 cash coupons for electronic products
• All people voting for the Champion will be awarded a set of five specially designed folders

Micro-Animation Workshop

A creative micro-animation workshop will be organised on 22 February 2014, offering inspirations to students. Experienced animators will be invited to share their knowledge and skills and provide advanced software training and demonstration.
