Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) Forum 2014
The Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) is going to organise the CIIF Forum 2014, themed “Social Capital: Together We build a Caring Hong Kong”, on 9 December 2014 (Tuesday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
Officiated by the Secretary for Labour and Welfare Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, GBS, JP, the whole-day Forum comprises a plenary session, roundtable discussions and concurrent sessions, covering a wide variety of topics on social capital by distinguished speakers from different sectors. A project expo will also be held where CIIF-funded project teams will showcase how changes have been brought to the community with their impressive work.
The CIIF Forum is a biennial event to engage new partners and celebrate achievements with stakeholders, including business leaders, non-governmental organisations, scholars and government officials. The 2014 CIIF Forum will be organised jointly by the Labour and Welfare Bureau and CIIF Committee, with the Social Welfare Advisory Committee, Elderly Commission, Rehabilitation Advisory Committee and Women's Commission and Hong Kong Council of Social Service as co-organisers. We are also pleased to have the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, and Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business as our supporting organisations.
