CIIF School Drama Competition Final cum Award Presentation Ceremony Completed - Creative social capital-themed dramas Well received by over 600 audiences

To enhance youth's awareness and knowledge of social capital, CIIF initiated the "Build a Caring Network Energise the Community" School Drama Competition. The Competition Final cum Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 31 March 2012 at the Youth Square Y-Theatre, Chai Wan with overwhelming response from over 600 audiences. The outstanding performances by 5 final teams demonstrated creative integration of social capital concept into the drama, which won great admiration from the audience.

CIIF is glad that the widespread participation of over 20 schools and 2,000 teachers and students as well as the general public has been mobilised through this competition and its pre-event programmes like social capital interactive drama school tour and script writing workshop, which have deepened their understanding of social capital.

The CIIF would like to express gratitude to CIIF spokesman Dr. David Lee, adjudicators, SC.Net members, project teams and volunteers for their active involvement and sterling support. The CIIF also congratulates all the winning teams for their outstanding performance. The award list is set out as follows:
