Critical Success Factor
This is the first CIIF project implemented by secondary and primary schools, i.e. Pak Kau College and Chui Yang Por Yan Primary School. The two schools have promoted the "Home-School-Community" collaboration model with campuses opened after school hours. After-school tutorial classes for children have been organised in the campuses where secondary students, parents of the primary students and residents of the community act as life mentors. The project has also set up a neighbourhood shuttle service and a community visit team for caring service. In the second phase of the project, the after-school tutorial classes will be operated on a self-financed basis and the core volunteers of phase one will pass on their experiences to the new volunteers to pursue a "Home-Business-Community-School" collaboration model.
