Cross Sectoral Collaboration Meeting 2026
The CIIF organised a “Cross Sectoral Collaboration Meeting” on 14 July 2026, attracting more than 120 participants from different sectors, including CIIF Committee members, representatives of CIIF-funded project teams, medical and health related organisations and higher education institutions, etc. The Meeting provides a platform for participants to network and explore partnership opportunities.
Themed “Joining Hands with the Medical, School, and Community to Spread the Human Warmth”, representatives from CIIF-funded project team “Love connection – Cognitive Friendly Community Scheme” and their medical, school and community collaborators – School of Nursing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and AWEsum Care (a social enterprise) were invited to share their successful experience in leveraging their strengths and resources to collaborate with each other, with the aim to developing sustainable cross-sectoral network to support the community.
Participants also had an in-depth group discussion, sharing their insights on topics like cross-sectoral collaboration experiences, challenges and possible solutions, as well as new ideas for collaboration methods and models, etc.
An activity panel was specially set up for participants to quickly share their contact information and resources possessed/required, with a view for a more effective matching.
The CIIF would like to express heartfelt gratitude to all guest speakers and participants for attending the Meeting. We hope CIIF-funded project teams would collaborate with institutions from various sectors to create more diverse and deeper forms of cooperation, continuously developing Hong Kong’s social capital.
