Experience in Mainland

• Professor Wang Sibin, Department of Sociology, Peking University
  The research "Social Work and Reproduction of Collaborative Social Capital in Rural Revitalisation" points out the importance of social capital in rural revitalisation. Professor Wang notes that the government, villagers, and social forces are the foundation for building rural social capital; in the process, social work plays an important role in promoting the reproduction of social capital, thereby promoting rural revitalisation.

• Professor Luo Jiade and Fang Zhenping, Department of Sociology, Tsinghua University In the research report "Social Capital and Participation in Redevelopment," they point out that social capital played an important role in the post-disaster recovery process of the Wenchuan earthquake, helping the villages in their post-disaster recovery and development.

Local Experience

• Funded by the CIIF, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University implemented a project titled "Evaluation as a Learning Tool: Practice Research for the New Public Rental Housing (PRH) Projects". The project was implemented from 1 December 2020 to 30 November 2023. The research team closely collaborated with 17 new public housing project teams to systematically record, observe, and analyse service work, summarising the findings throughout the process.
