Section Three: Measurement and Evaluation of Social Capital
Evaluation on Project Effectiveness
Evaluation on project effectiveness helps the project team measure whether its expected goals have been achieved, including assessing outcomes, processes, impacts, and sustainability (Grinell et al., 2019).
- Process Evaluation
To review the implementation process of the project, including the appropriateness of the project design, issues encountered during execution, participants' reactions, and project management. - Outcome Evaluation
To examine the short-term effects of the project, such as changes in participants' behaviours, attitudes or knowledge regarding social capital. - Impact Evaluation
To assess the project's long-term impact on the target group or community, including changes in the neighbourhood environment. - Sustainability Evaluation
To evaluate whether the impact of the development of social capital and its contribution to the community can continue after the funding of the project expires.
