The Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) Forum 2018 – Social Capital as a Solution
Concurrent Session 3
Connecting Families with Community through Schools |
Schools are key stakeholders in the community. The school-based model of social capital development not only makes good use of the “hardware” (campus) and “software” (students and parents’ networks) of schools but also strengthens the community’s function of supporting students and their families. Speakers will share their experiences of building social capital through school-based collaboration and explore the ways of networking with different stakeholders to form strategic partnership with each other in order to achieve synergy and build up extensive networks in the community |
