Over the past 20 years, the CIIF has been committed to its mission to build community support networks with partners from different sectors, supporting Hong Kong in face of different challenges and adversities. An immense amount of experience in developing social capital has been gained as a result.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the CIIF. To acknowledge this milestone, the CIIF will hold the CIIF 20th Anniversary Forum on the theme of “Passing on the Values of Trust and Reciprocity”. Guest speakers from the social welfare, academic, business and healthcare sectors will be invited to share their experiences at the forum. It will explore the roles and functions of social capital in the process of community development in the past, present and future, hopefully fostering the long-term commitment among various sectors to promote positive development in the community while upholding and passing on the values of trust and reciprocity.
