CIIF Evaluation Study
The Second Evaluation Study
The Bureau commissioned independent consultants to conduct the second evaluation study of the CIIF's overall outcomes in social capital development. The Second Evaluation Study was conducted from October 2010 to September 2012. The findings affirmed the strategies promoted by CIIF in achieving social capital outcomes, including fostering mutual trust and acceptance among people from different backgrounds, building neighbourhood support networks, turning assets of individuals into those of the community, and enhancing community capacity. The Bureau had in collaboration with the Committee to set the CIIF’s future direction and define the scale of operation based on the recommendations of the evaluation studies.
