CIIF Evaluation Study

The Second Evaluation Study

The Bureau has commissioned independent consultants to conduct the second evaluation study of the CIIF's overall outcomes in social capital development, which has commenced since October 2010. The Second Evaluation Study is completed in September 2012. The findings affirmed the strategies promoted by CIIF in achieving social capital outcomes, including fostering mutual trust and acceptance among people from different backgrounds, building neighbourhood support networks, turning assets of individuals into those of the community, and enhancing community capacity. The Bureau has in collaboration with the Committee set the CIIF’s future direction and defined the scale of operation based on the recommendations of the evaluation studies.
